Award-winning Medillians
Linda Foley (BSJ ‘77, pictured left) and Christine Brennan (BSJ ‘80, MSJ ‘81) were shining Medillians at the Northwestern Alumni Association's seventy-fifth alumni awards ceremony on March 31. Foley, president of the Newspaper Guild, won an alumni merit award for her career battling for workers’ rights and fair treatment. Brennan, winner of an alumni service award for her volunteerism with Medill and NU, is a leading voice on the Olympics and women’s sports issues as a sports columnist for USA Today and a TV and radio commentator.
